Constantine Bay
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Facts
- Lifeguarded during main season
- Dogs allowed
- Limited free parking (paid car park a short walk)
- Toilets
- Food / Coffee facilities during main season
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of St Merryn's most popular and beautiful beaches with a large sweeping bay, good surf and a great coffee van.
The beach is lifeguarded during the main season up until 6pm but if you plan on entering the sea outside of that time take note of the signs showing where the danger areas are on the beach. In particular the rip that runs down the left hand side.
Constantine is a beautiful beach backed by dunes and its size means that even on the busiest of days you can usually find some space.
It is a very popular surfing beach and can be a good place to learn or just to sit and watch those who are a little more experienced!
There are toilet facilities along with a great coffee van which also sells cakes etc. and the famous Barnecutts pasties during the main season.
