One of the most popular beaches in the area due to its large size, plenty of parking and facilities.
The beach itself can get busy during the main season but as it is so big you can usually find a quiet spot somewhere.
The beach is one of the safest to swim and surf in as it is generally protected by Trevose Head and as such doesn't get quite the swell that the likes of Constantine and Treyarnon get.
There is an abundance of parking and facilities here including take aways, hire shops, surf shops and a pub which also does food and has some great entertainment outside on a Sunday during the main season.
